Dear Dr. Che, Thank you for treating my family through out the years. You have been very competent in treating my husband, David with a sciatica problem. He had a difficult time getting out of bed, sitting, walking, etc. because it was very painful for him. He was advised by his physician to go under surgery. I am glad he decided to get acupuncture treatments with you instead of surgery. David has not had a problem with his sciatica since... Read more »
I have a voice again! While I still sounds a bit like Kermit, the fact that I can talk above a whisper is awesome. I’m also enjoying being able to actually eat without crying for the first time in 3 days. Thank you for the acupuncture treatment today! Thank you to PBN member Dr. Xia Che who managed to fit me into her busy schedule today and provide some relief from my tonsillitis! Such compassion and knowledge! I... Read more »

The point is located on the hand in the web between the thumb and index finger, also described as the depression where the index finger and Continue reading
Acupuncture: The Original Biohack for Migraines
Having recurring migraines is similar to parenting a temperamental toddler. When they go from being annoying to actively disruptive and mildly infuriating, there is often little one can do but grit your teeth and persevere. The helpful suggestions for managing this occurrence involved a mixture of expert opinion, anecdotal hearsay, individual tinkering and a big dose of patience. So Continue reading
3 AcuPoints for Anxiety
One of the most wonderful things about being an acupuncturist is the ability to stimulate points on my own body when I need to. If I get a headache, or feel a cold coming on, I can always hop up on my table for a quick tune-up with some needles. Even when I’m not at the office, the Continue reading
Seven Ways to Set and Achieve Your Goals
No matter what you’re trying to accomplish, setting goals is one way to help you get there. Often, when people have no goals, they lack motivation, focus and direction. Setting goals also provides a benchmark to determine whether or not you are succeeding. But how do you set goals if you’ve never done so before? Or what if Continue reading
The Shen Mind Connection
Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at things differently and while it may be a little confusing, there is usually some common ground that can be found upon examination and explanation. One such area is the idea of the mind. The mind in Traditional Chinese Medicine is commonly referred to as the shen.

Five Reasons Acupuncture Helps Reduce Stress
Stress is a word many people are familiar with. The dictionary defines stress in multiple ways, but there is only one that matters when we discuss how stress affects our physical bodies. The definition is this, “stress is a physical, chemical or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension.” And while most people think of stress as being Continue reading
TCM and Libido in Men
If your love life is lackluster, have you considered Traditional Chinese medicine to help a sagging libido? Acupuncture and herbal formulas may just be the ticket to improve your sex life and reignite your fire.
Positive Side Effects of Acupuncture
During an initial session of acupuncture, most practitioners began with an extensive health intake that goes over all of the systems in the body. We use this to determine certain patterns of imbalance, allowing us to treat the root cause of issues. This is one way we differ from Western medicine.
